What bitdepth is your display?
Will this break windows?
Also, I don't know if we can rely on gdk-pixbuf. Mozilla used to use it, then it
was removed for portability reasons. I'll have to check.

I always use the 24bpp screen by nvidia driver (frame buffer used).
http://www.kondara.org/~muraken/mozsvg-20020317.png is screenshot of original
mozilla 0.9.8 in this environment.
I test only Linux environment, and I can not check on Windows because I don't
have Windows environment.
I consider that it doesn't match on Windows, but I want those in whome someone
is possible to check.

This is actually a duplicate of bug#111152, but since you've attached a patch
I'm marking it a dependence.
Depends on: 111152
Summary: mozilla 0.9.8 can not render SVG → mozilla 0.9.8 doesn't render on linux for some pixel formats

I'm seeing all test SVGs on croczilla in such strage colors like the screenshot
in Comment #3 - additionally, the tests with movable items (same for :hover
tests) don't get some measures right and the objects aren't rendered on the same
place as where they're reacting to mouse events...
This is on Linux, X 4.2.0, ATI Mach64 board, self-compiled current trunk build.
