(Whiteboard: [PDT+]This depends on 12162 now marked for M12, shall I move this to M12?)

Build 1999090808M11: Win32/NT4, Linux/Redhat 6.0, Mac 8.5.1 Overview: Compose a new message and try addressing the message to three people where the addresses appear on different lines. You can easily enter the first two addresses but the third address field is not automatically created. (Ofcourse there is the problem where the address field is very thin making it difficult to see any text which is already documented in bug# 13250.) Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch Mail. 2. Select the "New Message" button. 3. In the first address field type an email address and press Enter and a second address field appears. 4. In the second address field type an email address and press Enter. Actual Results: Nothing happens. Expected Results: I would have expected a third address field to appear. Workaround: Click onto the second address field, Press Enter and the third address field appears.

Depends on: 12162
Target Milestone: M11
Marking as M11, and setting this as depends on 12162 which is the real bug here. It is currently necessary to click in the input field to get the automatica creation of the next line to fire. This is true for every line in the addressing section.
Another symptom of this bug is that auto completion only works on the first to line. The 2nd and 3rd to lines don't respond to auto completion.

Should the autocompletion part that mscott mentions be a different bug report? This needs to be fixed for Beta, I believe.
Both the autocomplete and new line are both failing for the same reason. When we get 12162 fixed then these will be fixed.
Summary: Compose can't automatically create a third address field → Compose can't automatically create a third address field or autocomplete beyond first address field
Move milestone stoppers to M10

Bumping to M11 since 12162 is not moving.

The third row is correctly created but not selected as we still have problem setting the focus on it (bug 15002). You need to use the scrollbar in order to see the new row then you can click on it. I expect when the focus will works that the tree will automatically scoll for us *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 15002 ***

Update: The specific test case in this bug is working on win and linux for 19991105 builds (Pressing <Enter> on Addressing line finishes the address and moves the cursor to the next addresisng line. Repeating, moves you to the 3rd line.). The duplicate bug and the dependant bugs are still opened and have different scenarios, so I will verify this as duplicate.
