Using build 2002031104 on WinXP:

At present, hitting Delete on a message does:
1: delete message (or mark-as-deleted on IMAP)
2: move selection to next message

However, if there's a delay between hitting delete and the actual deletion (as
happens on an IMAP conection), and the user moves the selection in that time,
the selection will still jump to the message after the deleted message.

Example:
1: Looking at message 4, I hit Delete.
2: While I'm waiting for the IMAP server to mark 4 deleted, I change selection
to look at message 2.
3: Once it's done deleting 4, selection jumps to message 5.
4: Frustration, swearing.

This also takes place in Thunderbird (2.0.0.21) and surely is as annoying. I couldn't seem to find any bugs that report this problem for this application so I'd like to know what to do to elevate the problem.

Thanks!
