Do you have the exact URL ?
We must reproduce this to get a stack trace from a debug build...

i assume it's reached by going to http://www.motorola.com - clicking link to
"semiconductors", and then the menu "documentation". Resulting page is
http://e-www.motorola.com/webapp/sps/library/docu_lib.jsp

No crash testing on XP, 2002041203
no crash using steps in comment 2, Alpha-Linux build 20020327.
Just one of many hard to reproduce crashes.

I was searching the Motorola semiconductor page for Microprocessor, and stepping
through the results pages. I got to the mid 200s and stack corruption happened.

http://www.motorola.com
Select semiconductors link
Search for Microprocessor.

This time no crash.
what build (date) are you using? no crash browsing search results, up to 500.
Mozilla 0.9.9
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; OpenVMS COMPAQ_AlphaServer_DS10_466_MHz; en-US; rv:0.9.9)

I can not reproduce this crash on demand.
I am unable to reproduce (on OpenVMS). I suspect this will have to be marked as
WORKSFORME until a more reliable reproducer can be found.
John, someone else reported a stack overflow to me on Friday, and their problem
was lack of page file quota. They were very low, at only 50,000 pages, and they
got a stack overflow when starting up Mozilla. Increasing page file quota made
their problem go away. So, what's your page file quota at?

After Colin's program showed that the X-Server was out of pagefile quota,
shortly after that the X-server process crashed. I increased it's pagefile quota.

Since restarting the X-server on April 16th, the quota has dropped.

Bug 133669 is all about a recursion bug that caused stack overflows. I am hoping
that this stack overflow was caused by the same bug which is fixed in 1.0-rc1.

Marking a dup. John, if you ever see this one again (in 1.0-rc1 or later),
please reopen this bug report.
