From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 2002-41711 Scroll the page with the mouse wheel - eventually you will see a line of text where the top doesnt align with the bottom. I **believe** this happens when the line of text is half-way on the screen and half-off, but I have not confirmed it. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a page with a lot of text, like Slashdor 2. Scroll around with the mousewheel 3. Look **carefully** for lines of text that get misaligned 4. Verify by selecting and deselecting the text that the line goes back to normal. Actual Results: Text tops misaligned with text bottoms Expected Results: Text should be perfectly aligned, as all the other text on the page is. Selecting/deselecting the text "fixes" the alignment. This is an ugly, embarassing bug.
Attached is a screenshot to demonstrate the bug. The last line of text in the window shows the misalignment.

Reporter what DPI (resolution) is your system set to and what DPI is set in the Mozilla preferences? If the DPI is 120 or 125 this is a dup of bug 80530
Is this any way dup or related to bug 87738..?

Oops, forgot to note that Mozilla DPI is set at 96dpi, with checkbox set for Allow documents to use other fonts. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the info. This is a dup of bug 80530 (if you look at http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80530#c63 you will find someone reporting that changing the DPI to 96 in mozilla did not fix the problem at a simlar DPI and the screenshot shows the classic one pixel shift).
