From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 2002041711 When reading the mail profile from a path in UNC, the body of messages is not displayed in either the preview pane or the message window (if a message is opened). The search function also appears not to be able to search the body. However, the headers are all displayed, and messages can be filed/deleted/etc. fine. A new message can be created, but once it is saved you cannot see the body. This problem does not occur when using locally mapped network drives. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a mail profile and add some messages 2. Change the local directory to a UNC path (e.g. \\server\my disc\email) 3. Exit Mozilla and copy the mailboxes etc to the specified path 4. Load Mail - the messages should now not be visible Actual Results: As described, Mozilla was unable to either display or process the bodies of messages when reading over a UNC path. Expected Results: It should have been able to display and process the message bodies.

Reporter, could you please retest with a more newer version of mozilla, either the latest milestone or a recent nightly?

(In reply to comment #3) > Reporter, could you please retest with a more newer version of mozilla, either > the latest milestone or a recent nightly? Hi, I'm seeing this bug with Thunderbird 0.6 on Windows XP. This is definitely still broken.
