144532 - New browser/mail windows fail to appear

Linux version of bug #144477.  Neither the menu item New Window, or Ctrl-N bring
up a new window.  New items are added to the window dropdown.  Nothing happens
when selecting one of these items.

Forgot to mention that I am using the RPM build on a modified RedHat 7.1 install

Have you installed Thrid-Party Themes (possible not active) ?
Can you uninstall all Themes and restart Mozilla ?

Sorry for the mis-file.  Seems like quite a major loss of functionality.

In some other pre-release I apparently had installed some other skin.  
Removing lop* in ~/.mozilla/<username>/<profile>/chrome/ cleared it up.
I now have chrome.rdf, user-locales.rdf and user-skins.rdf there; problem solved.

this should be worksforme but this case is a dupe.
