From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; T312461; Q312461) BuildID: 2002052208 When I do an action like New Navigator Window, or anything to open a new window, an invisible, "dead" window is created and just hangs. An empty item is visible on the Window menu. Browser does not close until this window is closed (by selecting it from Window menu and typing alt-F4). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: see Description
The Installation Notes recommend a clean install. Just to make sure: Did you uinstall possible older version of Mozilla before installing a new build?
Reporter: If a clean install doesn't work as suggested by R.k.a.a, uninstall all third party Themes and/or delete all files in Profile/chrome/
The chrome directory in the profile was the problem. I did not see that in the release notes.
