Details

(a layout person should modify the summary to have a better technical
description...)

STEPS:
Enter any file:// URL that points to a directory (since Chimera is OS X native,
file:/// should point to "/", which is not the case for Mozilla trunk).

The browser will accept the input, but fail to redraw and display directories.
However, the existing layout contents will die, for example, you can move the
scroll bar up and down, but the layout pane contents will not scroll.
mmmm, kay. Probably a low priority if the file can be opened via the dialog

Dependent on bug 140606?
perhaps the preference to enable HTML directory listings just needs to be enabled.
It defaults to HTML listing format by all.js. Will have to look further...
