Details
Linux (1999-09-29-08 M11)
Steps:
1. In a POP account with a newsgroup
2. Select the netscape.test newsgroup from the news.mozilla.org server
3. Select a news message
4. From the Message menu, select Copy Message and copy the news message to any
folder of the POP account
5. Open the folder that the message was copied to.
Actual result: The copied message shows NO subject and no Send, and the date
shows 12/31/69. This happens to 3 news message that I have tried.
However, when I exit/relaunch, the copied news message shows the correct
Subject, Sender and date.
Expected Result: I should not have to exit/relaunch. Copies message should be
displayed in the Copy-to folder correctly.
This does not happen to win_nt 4.0
Mac: When I copied a News posting to POP folder, it was a different problem. See
bug #15214.
