We in #documentation are in the process of overhauling our logistical support
for documentation. One suggestion we've come up with is an annotated LXR.
One possibility is to borrow the Tinderbox gold star technique and adapt it for
LXR. This would allow for additional commentary to be available inline in the
code. Ideally, we could post a gold star on a branch next to a certain line and
it would remain anchored to that line in LXR on that branch. Perhaps a silver
star for the same line in other branches.
Another possibility is to borrow the PHP Manual's procedures of appending
comments to the end of a page. We may end up filing another bug to support the
creation of such a feature in more traditional documentation, but we would like
to recommend the possibility for LXR as well.

Reassigning all LXR bugs assigned to build@mozilla-org.bugs to the default LXR owner (sorry Bear!)
We aren't actively working on these (if that's wrong, please reassign to yourself/a real person).

how about an automatic friendly namespace in devmo wiki with a link/iframe for it in lxr?
