Steps to reproduce:
Thunderbird --> Message-->New_Message
Compose email to myself. Subject: Test
Invoke Firefox http://slashdot.org
Use Windows 7 snipping tool to select section of firefox window
Paste into thunderbird new message window.
Pasted Image is displayed. [See attached file]
Send image to myself
Actual results:
Receive email with no images
WIll attach image of the composed email

Expected results:
Should have received email with pasted images. INstead received email has image stripped out.
Have seen this happen multiple times with pasted images.
Reduced issue to this simple case.

This is a know issue. Somehow the e-mail is forced to plaintext due to a configuration mistake. See bug 1510134 comment #18.
