describes ways to work around what I presume must be an Epson Bug.

I have an Epson Stylus 850 which I have used for some years. The first time I
came across the problem was when I tried to print using Opera 6.01, the fix was
to wait for Opera 6.02 which cured the problem.

I install most releases of Mozilla as they come out and until now they have all
printed OK on that same Epson printer. Not any more, Mozilla 1.1a 20020611 does
something that exposes this Epson problem.

Epson are not in a hurry to fix it or even reply to email on the issue. Not many
people use software that exposes the problem.

 [e-mail]- Gecko/20020611 is too old a build to report bugs against
now, but since this was reported a year ago, the problem you are reporting may
well have been fixed already. 

Could you please download a recent nightly build from
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/, and then let us know if you 
still see this problem, without using a workaround the epson software.

Sorry but I am unable to test it again, I overcame the problem by changing the printer. I have 
since changed operating system as well. 
 
Maybe someone else can confirm: 
1) Does Mozilla for windows print OK to an Epson Stylus 850 ? 
2) Does it print OK on any Epson Stylus printer ?

Just queried Bugzilla, for any Epson Stylus problems, and didn't have any, since
no one else made a bug report and this took place under Mozilla 1.1, this bug is
being marked as fixed.

RESOLVED as WORKSFORME is the correct status for this bug (please see
http://www.mozilla.org/bugs/ - Life cycle of a bug). CLOSED is deprecated.
It can then be verified by a QA person or other people having the privileges and
VERIFIED is the final state.
Reopening for proper resolution.
