I've moved into running seamonkey all the time and not using 4.7 at all. One of
the annoyances I've noticed is that the new mail count in the flash panel
quickly becomes worthless because it never gets cleared.

I would expect, that after we download new messages, we should clear this count.

Typical scenario:
I come in, log on in the morning and download 50 messages. The flash panel
says 50 new messages. Now as the day goes on, I get more messages and we see
51, 52, 53, etc. But the numbers really become meaningless because I don't
remember what the new message count was before I did my last fetch new mail.
I have to keep track of it in my head when the flash panel info should do it for
me.

Hmm, I thought there was a bug on this already, but I can't find it.
This bug may be invalid now that we don't have alerts anymore.
