Alec Flett posted a PNG image in his newsgroup message
news://news.mozilla.org/380CE2E5.B13A8611@netscape.com

The image looks ok in 4.5 on Windows and Linux, but it looks fuzzy/grainy in
mozilla on Windows and Linux.
Uhm, since that news URL won't work yet in mozilla, you can find the message in
netscape.public.mozilla.mail-news dated 10/19/99 2:30pm.
Summary: PNG image looks fuzzy in mozilla → Interlaced PNG image looks fuzzy in mozilla
attaching the offending image
It actually seems to be interlacing that causes the fuzzyness... non-interlaced
PNGs look fine.
[Note bug #3195, "problems with progressive display of interlaced PNG"]
