I think logical order (top to bottom) imply having the following order in the view menu: Toolbars Sidebar Status Bar Also, there are access key conflicts: Sidebar, Status bar and Stop
I agree. Blake?

'Scuse the duplicate. I second that. Marvellous idea.
Tiny patch with the good order: Toolbars / Sidebar / Status bar.

I don't want to change the ordering, but I did just fix the accesskey conflict. Good catch.

I agree on the View menu ordering. That is the same order that it appears as in Internet Explorer. Since the Mozilla Foundation will now be targeting end users, this is a very important feature to keep, at least as the default. I see no reason why file menus couldn't be modified to be whatever order you wanted. However, that is an entirely different bug. The approach though is that the core and the extensions have a series of functions. There would then be the ability to customize menus, access keys, and right-click menus separately. I find this feature very useful in jEdit from www.jedit.org. VERIFIED Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030714 Mozilla Firebird/0.6
