sometimes the customize dialog doesn't appear (usually on the second opening in a session). when this happens the menubar is disabled but I get no customize window so I'm stuck with a useless browser. new windows work. I see s thin black horizontal line of pixels where the dialog should have slid out. similar behavior reported at http://www.mozillazine.org/talkback/read.php?f=11&i=35&t=35 js error in console when this happens is: Error: window.arguments has no properties Source File: chrome://global/content/customizeToolbar.js Line: 38
Just happened to me, too
I get a variation on this (under win98), on launching Phoenix (and opening a web pages in different tabs) I get one go at opening the customize dialog (clicking 'done' to get out again) after that there is a black line (presumably either the top or bottom of the customize dialog) visible above the current set of webpage tabs which won't go away (so it's not a left-over drawing glitch). This is 100% reproducable for me. What seems less easy to reproduce is that sometimes the menu bar is still active and usable except the customize dialog will no longer appear, other times the whole menu is inactive.
should be fixed now.
