Hi,
Sorry for the lack of explanations in the bug report.
The ";" character on IS keyboard is "Shift+," on US layout.(We have "Æ"
where ";" is on US)
So I would need to do "Ctrl+Shift+," to activate the search bar, and
that is not possible. I have tried this with US and it works great.
This problem is also with Swedish layout, and I guess all Scandinavians.

Darren, on a Swedish keyboard, the key is the second one to the right from "P",
so it's not even at the same place physically.

In my opinion, we should avoid using other shortcuts than A-Z, 0-9, with the
exception of + and -, which can be used on the numeric keyboard.

Take account that not all people have numeric keyboards. Especially laptop
users. If possible, use only A-Z, 0-9.
