you will need a partner login to mysun.sun.com to test this one
once you have the appropriate access you click on the pricelist download links
which are actually an image with a form POST attached.
An example link is

When the image is clicked Mozilla posts the form but never displays a dialog box
to start the download. The status bar shows the page as "Done" after it
retreives some data.

Attached is an Ethereal Packet capture of the traffic that occurs when Mozilla
posts the form and never starts the download

Ethereal packet capture of the same page and form being posted by IE. This one
actually works ok and the download starts.

not sure if it is a form submission problem of a download problem it sounds
similar to
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171441 except that I never get a
message or anything - it just does not download
I have attached another capture file there if that is any help.
no javascript errors when i try a download, howver I am getting a java script
error when i tryh and open the download manager (which does not open, no message
or anything)

This bug is tightly related to
http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171441
uninstalling mozilla and deleting all the "program files" directory that is left
and then reinstalling does fix both problems.
Installing new version over the top of faulty ones does not fix the problem.
This one can be closed
