M10, Build ID = 1999100808 Not seen in M9. When menu is selected, the menu seems to be transparent. That is, you can see the buttons on the button bar through the menu. This happens to File, Edit and View menus, but not Search. If the user then scrolls down the menu, over the top of the buttons, the buttons disappear as the window is refreshed correctly. To see, simply select on File menu with mouse.

The original bug report was with respect to Milestone 10 on Linux with Build 1999100808. I've since downloaded the 1999102608 build. However, the interface has changed slightly. The menu looks different and XP Menu is NOT used anymore - that could be why you did not detect the bug. You may have to go back to M10. Not sure whether this can be called resolved as the original problem may remain, just that you can't get to it anymore. BTW - The original problem was on a updated-RH60. The original M10 bug exists with both "Gnome with Enlightenment" and "Fvwm2".

I can reproduce this with the 1999110908 Linux build. I'm using RH6.0 and Gnome. The behavior has changed slightly over the days. Try the edit menu instead. The only difference i can imagine is that typically most of the menuitems there are inactive and therefore 'greyed out' that might contribute to the behavior.

i can't repro this with build 1999121508 on linux, so marking wfm. have you tried this out on a more recent build? i checked this w/File, Edit & View menus in the browser, as well as the menus in IM. also updated component.
