Select events
File > Print
Selected events not displayed.

Use available options to select 'Events' and Date range.
This shows all events between date range, not specific selected events in that date range.

Example: Need a print of all Events created as birthdays
I need the print out to cover a year. eg: Jan 2021 to Dec 2021

Unable to print selected events.
Can only print 'all' events in the entire date period.
In this case the 'birthdays' are no longer the only events.

Cannot select text from the entire list shown to only print selected text.
Similar to bug 1731183 which has no option for selected text in emails.

There is also a problem with the date range as it is in list form and earliest date is june 2021 - there is no mini calendar to choose dates. I'll create as a separate bug. bug 1732740 - that bug report is a duplicate - so use Bug 1731783

Basically, it is not possible to print selected events.
Request option to print the events that are selected or highlight text in the first 'print' display which are then selected when you click on Print to see the real print preview.

This was possible in V78 now it's gone in V9x.x. The printing options are now totally minimal. If you want to print a calendar for the day, you can't. I it will only print entries for a month. Not very useful.

I guess restoring the existing print features in the new print dialog has been/will be non-trivial, but I agree this should be investigated wrt to further possible iterations because it looks like a significant loss of printing flexibility.

Alex (aleca), fyi: 5 duplicates and counting. Being able to print only selected events is obviously an important use case, like today's agenda or the agenda for the rest of the week, rest of the month, 3-day conference etc. This was possible with TB 78, but now we only support weekly or monthly printouts, with limited date range, so distant past or far future cannot even be printed at all.

I would also appreciate a re-implementation of this feature, as we used it quite often.
