Text typed into the text field is not visible though it is accepting the text
and does post.

I have tried this in Mozilla for OS X 1.2b and it works fine thought the form
elements are ugly as sin in Moz it does work.

Eddie, what build ID are you reporting this bug against?

Build - 2002110415 but it has done this prior to this too.

WorksForMe using Chimera/2002110415 on 10.1.5. The text field is white text on a
grey background.

Just to be sure I am clear...  It's the "text area" field not the single line input field.
I am getting a white text area with white text.

OS 10.2
Chimera Build 2002110415

I have tested this on 4 different Macs running OS X 10.2 / Chimera all exhibit the same 
problem.

I have ot made any unusual color changes.

I will continue to try to figure out what the problem is so I can report back.

Attachment: a test page to show the bug with css and textarea fileds

This is to show the bug occuring with the textarea input when a background
color is set via CSS. It should show white text on a grey background instead it
shows white text on a white background.
