User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021104
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i586; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021104
Mozilla was unable to print a message or find the printer until I manually told
it the path to find lpr (/usr/bin/lpr) Once I typed this into the printer
properties, there were no problems.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. press print icon
2. press okay on print dialog box
3.
Actual Results:
A message box opened, then quickly closed. Then nothing happened. When checking
with lpq, it became clear nothing was actually sent into the print queue.
Problem was manually remedied by specificying /usr/bin/lpr in the printer properties

Mhhh, which Linux version (vendor, distribution and kernel version) do you use ?
This works on most Unix versions, so I guess this may be a bug in the OS or
distribution itself...
Summary: must specify lpr as /usr/bin/lpr → [ps] must specify lpr as /usr/bin/lpr

Since over 1 month no answer from the reporter, so closing bug as wfm.
If the bug exists in newer builds (1.4 final) then look for a similar bug or
reopen this bug.
