User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021029 Phoenix/0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021029 Phoenix/0.4 I previoously had Netscape 7.0 installed. Just now, I installed Mozilla 1.2.1, then I installed Phoenix 0.4. When Phoenix comes up, the start page indicates I have an old version of Mozilla and suggests I download and install 1.2.1. But I just installed it prior to installing Phoenix. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Just start Phoenix with the default start page. Actual Results: When Phoenix comes up, the start page indicates I have an old version of Mozilla and suggests I download and install 1.2.1. But I just installed it prior to installing Phoenix. When I installed Mozilla 1.2.1, I specified my own choice for the installation directory. Since Phoenix doesn't appear to have an installer, I unzipped it into a directory and then created a shortcut to the phoenix.exe file (on my desktop.) Is it possible Phoenix is trying to use the version of Mozilla installed when I installed Netscape 7.0??? How does Phoenix decide where to find Mozilla???
This is a known issue. Appearantly, Blake changed the start page today and then reverted back after 30 minutes or so. Anyway, I could not find a duplicate so I'm marking this as NEW. Changing summary. Setting target milestone to 0.5 so Blake doesn't miss this bug report when the start page really is fixed. :)

Summary: Start page requests Mozilla 1.2.1 but it is already installed → Update start page to a Phoenix specific page
Target Milestone: --- → Phoenix0.5
For 0.5, we're going to try to set up a Phoenix redirect at the mozilla.org start page since changing the homepage is actually more complicated than you might think.
Target Milestone: Phoenix0.5 → Phoenix0.6

Updating summary for Firebird™ :)

I think you want to clear this with david first. This is going to suck down bandwidth like nothing else before.
No problem (I hope), I've been asked before.
Now that Firebird is going to be the main Mozilla browser, perhaps this is no longer necessary?
All entries containing "http://texturizer.net/phoenix/index.html" should be updated to "http://texturizer.net/firebird/index.html" The patch also needs some refreshment, because especially all.js has seen a lot of new revisions.
the "/index.html" should also be dropped. It will limit things, if the siteowner decides to convert his site into php fx "/index.php" It should just be "/"

I think that the throbber should goto the Firebird project page because I think the throbber should always lead to the official homepage of the browser. However I think the default homepage going to Firebird Help is a great idea.
Verifying. Localized versions of Mozilla Firebird should of course change the startup page to the correct language of Mozilla Firebird Help.
