Hi,
Can we make f9 open ther sidebar like in mozilla I like how f9 opens the sidebar
in mozilla and I will like to see it in phoenix too like mozilla does.
Or is this planned to happen anyway.

Steps to Reproduce:




This is an enhancment.
The problem is that there isn't one sidebar but three mutually exclusive ones -
bookmarks, history and downloads, being Ctrl+B, Ctrl+H and Ctrl+E, respectively.

So I'm not sure what this request is actually for...
There is no sidebar in Phoenix, but three different sidebars. Marking WONTFIX.

F9 could open/close the last opened sidebar. A single keypress (F9) is better
than a combo (Ctrl+B, ...) . REOPEN?
I don't see what benefit opening the last sidebar would have.  I know that I
want to open Bookmarks, History, or Downloads, so why wouldn't I use that
specific key?  Otherwise it's a crapshoot as to what opens.

This is old but usuable in Mozilla Firebird Phoenix is a no longer produced.
The F9 key would be nice by the way.

implementing the "last sidebar open" method would only mean storing a value and
adding more code.  I definitely recommend WONTFIX because there's no benefit to
most users.  If CTRL+key is too taxing you may want to add the appropriate
buttons to the toolbars.

Reporter, unless you have a compelling reason as to WHY this should be reopened,
it should have been left as WONTFIX.

Phoenix is still being made; it's just got a new name. Just because it got a new
name doesn't mean the corpus of outstanding bugs suddenly disappeared! (I wish).
