Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.attempt to retrieve a .com binary via the url address bar 2. 3. Actual Results: displays the content as text in the browser Expected Results: invoke the download manager

yes, the server sends text/plain (load the page, open Page info and look at the content type). Mozilla can render text/plain and you get this file in teh browser window. yes, it works in IE but Ie is broken and violates the rfc. -> invalid Please send a note to the webmaster that the server should send a correct mime-type for this file (something like "application/octet-stream")
