many recent gecko based builds have been showing the wrong preview in the Themes
selection part of options/preferences for some time now.

I see it on W2K, WinME, and XP home on Intel and AMD hw.

Phoenix
Mozilla-browser

whatever the gecko based browser, it seems this problem is there.  Isn't that
preview from an OLD "classic" theme from Netscape or Mozilla?

I'd say severity is a bit more than trivial, like minor.

A simple short term fix might be to remove the graphical preview and just let
users pick themes by text selection.

I would mark this verified if I could.

I searched and didn't find this issue in any other bug reports, so I hope it's
not a duplicate.  Unless it duplicates another report that is being worked ;-)

Seems the issue had been fixed in newer/newest gecko derived browser builds. 
Show s expected preview in 2003-05-19 MozSuite/Seamonkey and in 2003-05-19
MozFirebird/MozBrowser.  I'd say change status to closed/resolved/fixed or whatever
