started (in Preferencies-Appearance).

What is a "Contacts module" and why would it fit in the "Appearance" prefs?

I think we should have this, here's a simple patch to expand the options in the
prefs dialog so that address book can be opened by default as well. I've set
the position to 5 so it doesn't conflict with calendar.

Expose pref to enable address book startup by default.
Please file a follow-up bug to fix the position conflicts by using insertafter
instead.
