In today's 11/16 release build, I'm having lots of problems with blinking carets when viewing pages with html forms. i.e. consider bugzilla web page. Every field I enter text in picks up a blinking caret that never goes away even after I move on to other fields. As i'm writing this bug report I have 6 blinking carets on this page all blinking at the same time. Forgive me if I mis-marked the component. Marking for dogfood as the annoyance level is quite high.

cc'ing chris. this sounds related to the focus bug you fixed about no caret showing up. Did you fix this in an overly-enthusiastic way? Did you test your fix while viewing pages with multiple text controls? Chris, if this isn't you, please reassign to me. mscott, what platform was this on? It's marked "other"

This was on windows NT. I'm not sure why the OS field didn't get set correctly. I just fixed that now.

Marking VERIFIED FIXED on WinNT 1999120516 mozilla build. Also tested (and works correctly) on Linux 1999120508 mozilla & MacOS86 1999120508 netscape.
This bug is very much like 13973. Unwilling to mark as duplicate but hopefully someone more skilled will investigate.
