Build 2002011412 In the above referenced table, I have misplaced "misplaced text" between row 2 and 3. My intuition would tell me that it gets shown outside the table next to row 2 or as an extra tr or extra column/td. OK, it is done differently, it shows before the table (first one has to find this out when you have large nested tables...) Secondly, I tried to catch it by highlighting "misplaced text" and right-click "View Selection Source" and (surprise surprise), Mozilla tells me that it is in the source where it is displayed??? Going back to "View Source" in its entirety, it finally is shown where it truly is position in the code. Question - 1) is this really intentional? Or at least suggestions: 2) mark the "fixed" source (as per "view selection source") as invalid as per suggestion http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=190797 2) and similarly mark the mistaken text in its true position as invalid as well in "View Source"

Boris, Resolving this as a duplicate doesn't cover my suggestions 2) and 3), therefore, I re-open it. Suggestion 2 probably should be refined as in http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=164906#c7. Furthermore, RFE 4) In view Selection Source, add a disclaimer that this is not the actual source, but what DOM renders... P.S.: my build is obviously 2003...

This is too untidy.. one bug-report and now up to three RFE's boiled into one. Please only submit one issue per bug. Resolving as invalid.

Sorry, this happens since the reporter is also learning in the course of a bug's life. I think only one RFE is left that had to be added: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=190947
