When someone has sent me for eg a jpg file, the file size is shown in the "size"
column but no attachment can be seen or accessed. I was able to view them for
the first few days, but since then, nothing. Even emails that had attachments
that I could originally view, are no longer there, the message is, but not the
attachment
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Check email
2. Click on message with known attachment
Actual Results:
Cannot see attachment
Expected Results:
Shown or displayed the attachment

can you please rename the file "abook.mab" in your mozilla user profile ?
see the release notes for the path on your os.
(This file is the mozilal Adressbook and you can rename it later back)
Summary: Empty attachments window - cannot access or see received attachments. → Empty attachments window - cannot access or see received attachments.
this happened to me too (the from, subject, to was shown inside the text message
window, and i couldnt see attachments), i was linking abook.mab to my win32 one,
apparently i checked again and it showed it wasnt pointing anywhere (dead link)
so i removed it and made a symlink link to the correct file.. it works now! thx
Matthias
maybe there should be some kind of error message if it doesnt find abook.mab or
it's a link to nonexistent file
