[imap] when i check mail, the app just sort of freezes up for a few seconds

this is a regression caused by my checkin for the junk mail envelope.  
(bug #190825)

testing a fix now.

i'll try to verify. my 2003022610 build consistently hangs for 5+ minutes at a
time when it decides to get mail.

seth: i'm using 03/05-04 and i just got a freeze (from mail getting new mail),
it killed my chatzilla connection (which means at least 3mins, since that's the
network timeout), i believe mine are closer to 5+ mins. of note, this time
something really bad happened, my imap folder inbox summary was destroyed or
something so mozilla speant 16+8+4 mins downloading the messages headers
(117500+) from scratch, the plusses are because the connection failed (i got an
error from mozilla and from tera term which is doing the ssh forward) so i had
to get messages again.

i can file a new bug for my problem if you like, i've had it since i switched to
nightly builds sometime mid feb (basically post darin landings).
