Chatzilla 0.8.23 [Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; U; Warp 4.5; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030320] To reproduce: 1. Setup some channel (e.g. #test) to ``Open at Startup'' 2. Connect to irc-network 3. A view for #test is opened 4. Drop an internet connection for a while, so ChatZilla has to reconnect to irc-network 5. When reconnection happens, a new (duplicated) view for #test is opened Expected result: already opened view should be ``re-used''
I don't see this. Maybe you got a different server the second time. It would still be a bug in that case.
Yeah, I can confirm this occurs, but only for networks where ChatZilla has more than one defined server (and thus usually gets a different one after a random network problem). I /believe/ it occurs because ChatZilla keeps the channel objects within the server objects, and thus the channels on the newly connected server aren't the same ones, so it opens a new view. But it's quite annoying when it does. :)
