In testing daily AIX builds, I found that between 03/23/2003 and 03/24/2003, the
AIX browser hangs on startup. This will prevent a working 1.4 alpha release for
AIX. I am currently building a debug enabled build to find where the regression
is occurring.

i think you may find that the patch in bug 198946 fix this.
On Linux, i got nothing bug hangs or crashes today (several variants of both)
untill i applied that patch.

This does seem to be a duplicate of Bug 198946. Today's daily build works fine.
