What's the point of the resizing pane if I can make Tasks shorter and
Calendar/Calendars still remain the same size?

Remove the resizing thing for attractiveness

I would add, not to remove it, but allow to move it up and make it possible to
hide the small calendar.

I'll do this, make it so that the mini-cal can be hidden. Or I'll die trying :)

Attachment: splitter should close mini calendar, not tasks

flips splitter to close upwards, and changes my contrib line to reflect my new
email addr.

That patch doesn't keep you from shrinking the tasks, and it will only snap the
mini-cal open and closed (no resizing or even covering of it will happen). I'd
like ideas on how to lock it in position, or make the mini-cal resizable, but
that patch should work for now.

Patch checked into cvs, both for resources/content/calendar.xul and
sunbird/base/content/calendar.xul
