I Can't Open my Inbox in Seamonkey Dec 1 and Nov 30th build. When I open the Inbox, Seamonkey churns away and I get a brief flicker on the screen. The other folders I've opened are okay so perhaps this is due to its large size Inbox has 3796 mails and an Urgent box inside it with 3165 mails. Don't laugh or I'll make you file them all!
Try going straight to mail...don't open AIM or any other windows...Try that...in the meantime...Putting on PDT+ radar.
Cindy, are you running POP or IMAP? I'll have someone take a look at your setup.
may be related to http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20312? Cindy is using POP.

roberts@netscape.com you're saying that mozilla downloads all 3796 emails but when you click on the Inbox no emails are being listed? Or, are the emails not being downloaded at all?

I just loaded a 4531 pop folder with no problem. As jelwell asked, are these already downloaded messages or is it stalling while downloading? Is anyone in QA able to reproduce this?
Still investigating, looks like a partial migration due to running out of disk space - see bug 13850.
daver is seeing this now. He never gets a password dlg. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20607
Cindy's problem is gone now. We deleted all the old profiles (selected remove files option too), then migrated again. At this time she had only 1 4.x profile so migrating was automatic and it never finished. I tried again, but on the 2nd hang up, I interrupted the migration and the product launched (mail was incomplete). I then created another profile so I could get away from the automatic migration and have the profile manager come up. I then deleted the incomplete profile (and files) and launched mozilla again using -installer. This time I selected the problem profile and it migrated completely. I will investigate the migration problem when there is only 1 profile. In any case the migration worked and she can see all her messages and folders. I don't think this is daver problem, still investigating to find out.

clearing PDT+ resolution. PDT team - esther investigated this and thinks that Cindy's problem in this case with not being able to download her mail is due to a problem with migration. That issue is covered under bug 13850. Cindy's system (after disk space was cleared and re-migrated the problem) is now working fine. All 3000+ POP msgs are downloaded and accessible. I think we should close this bug now. If anyone things that there is still a bug, pls state what the bug is now. Thanks.

I think we should close it too. It sounds like it's a migration problem rather than a mail problem. I'm marking WORKSFORME.
