Linux Redhat 6.0 (1999-12-01-09 M12) STeps: 1. Launch Messenger using the -mail option 2. Select Edit|Account Settings to open the dialog 3. Click once to open my account and select Copies and Folder 4. In the right pane, place a check in the "Place a copy in " combo box 5. Click the downward arrow to open the combo list 6. Drag mouse over the vertical scroll bar Actual result: the cursor turns into a cross (X), when I press the left mouse and try to scroll downward, no response Expected result: I should be able to scroll downward to select any folder at any location of the combo box. This problem does not occur on Mac and win_nt 4.0. It is a parity bug.
<select> widget bug....the scrollbar seems to work on web pages, I'm guessing this is a popup-on-a-modal problem.... note that <select> widgets have native scrollbars. Reassignig to danm adding blizzard to CC - Chris, this is linux-specific, related to modality... ring any bells? adding adding evaughan to CC - Eric, are we getting native scrollbars in <select> widgets any time soon? adding rods to CC - Just because he loves <select> widgets so much.
