You have to reboot after deleting it.

Confirmed, works after a reboot. Is this documented anywhere? It should be.
OS: other → OS/2
Now documented here: http://www.os2bbs.com/os2news/Warpzilla.html Resolve as WONTFIX?
Steve, The link you provided is: a) unofficial (we should bundle this in the product README at the very least) b) talks about installing but not *uninstalling* the mail indicator
It *does* say how to remove the mail indicator (text is even in red right now).
Confirmed, I see it on the website now. I strongly recommend we include this in the README instead of relying on a website to provide this information. The ideal solution would be for the installer to actually allow users to uninstall the component instead of relying on their manual intervention.
The uninstaller isn't really component based. And we dont' really have a README for the OS/2 product. The only thing I can think of is to modify the installer to give the user a choice of whether to have the indicator or not.
I've decided to remove the mail indicator and have Steve Wendt update his page to tell people how to create the icon.
What should it say differently from what it says now?
So in hindsight, I never should have done this. Most peoples machine just get a blank square on the WarpCenter that they don't know what to do with. So they have to go to Steve's page to learn what to do anyway. I've changed the object ID from CCINBOX to MOZILLAMAIL No more new mail indicator unless you want it.
