when you play a shockwave movie with quicktime content, the quicktime
multiplies or redraws in strange places. Also when you resize mozilla, qt
spills on top of the browser UI.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Play a shockwave movie with a quicktime or qtvr content
2.Resize the browser
3.
Actual Results:
Quicktime will redraw all over outside of the shockwave movie boundary where it
doesn't belong.
Expected Results:
QT should not float all over the browser or redraw on top of the browser UI.

This has nothing to do with Bugzilla... moving to Browser.
(leaving me on CC because I've actually run into this bug, so I'll be curious
when it's fixed :)

The link to Macromedia's statement in comment #2 works for me.

You sure? It's still 404 when I try it. Pay attention to the page you get,
it's very stylized, but it's still a 404 page. It says "Page Not Found" in big
letters at the top of the content box under the page header.

Dave, that page was available until just a day or so ago for me but it is a 404 now.

bryner or roc, do either of you want to take a stab at this one?
There's no Shockwave Player for Linux so I can't work on this.

JST, when we get a testcase, can you look into this?

Macromedia Tech Support said, again today, that, "At the moment the Macromedia
engineering team is working with Mozilla on any outstanding bugs." (This
includes this bug, #213331). Whether this is actually happening, I'm not sure,
but it's Macromedia's claim.

Testcase has been uploaded (213331_sw_qtvr.zip). Please feel free to contact me
if there are any question regarding this bug or the testcase I have attached.

Now that there's a testcase provided, will this be fixed in 1.8a4?

Bug #231331 is the only remaining Mozilla bug stopping Macromedia from being
able to certify Shockwave as being supported on the Mozilla browser under Mac OS
X. Since I got Macromedia to finally provide a test case back in July, can't
this bug be fixed soon so that Shockwave is fully supported on Mozilla?

Ack--there was a typo in my last message in reference to the bug number. It should have said:
