Using this page: http://www.empirenet.com/%7Ejoseram/universal/universal.html as
an example, I am testing real player 8 and real one .smil files. When I use any
other browser (IE 5.x,6.x, Netscape 4.79, Opera, Safari, Konqueror, etc) it
parses the file fine to realone (or real player 8) player. On Mozilla, I get an
error that says:
'Requested file not found'
'file://C:/DOCUME~1/OWNER/LOCALS~1/TEMP/media/www3ba.au'
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.empirenet.com/%7Ejoseram/universal/universal.html
2. Using IE, try this link:
http://www.empirenet.com/%7Ejoseram/universal/www/universal.smil
3. Using Mozilla, try this link:
http://www.empirenet.com/%7Ejoseram/universal/www/universal.smil
4. It works in IE but not in Mozilla or Netscape 6.x & 7.x .
Actual Results:
On Mozilla, I get an error that says:
'Requested file not found'
'file://C:/DOCUME~1/OWNER/LOCALS~1/TEMP/media/www3ba.au'
Expected Results:
Played the file without errors.

The correct was to launch .smi or .smil files is first make a .ram file that
points to the url of the .smil or .smil file. This solves/resolves this issue
Netscape 6.x, 7.x * Mozilla 1.x has with launching .smi and .smil files.
