Probably this is not the place to report this, in that case please advise.

I'm using linux and Mozilla Firebird and Thunderbird latest nightly builds.
When I press links on emails or try to get new dictionaries for thunderbird
email composition I can't invoke the preferred or associated web browser.

Can this be defined some place? I tried to look in the prefs file but I could't
find no proper place to do so.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
The thunderbird forum on mozillazine says to report bugs there instead of in
bugzilla....
Please don't report Thunderbird bugs in bugzilla (at the moment).
Use the mozillazine Forum if you have problems

Summary: Mozilla Thunderbird can not invoke Mozilla Firebird to do web surfing related stuff → can not invoke Mozilla Firebird to do web surfing related stuff
See the release notes. This is a known issue with linux. See the second issue on
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/thunderbird/release-notes.html.

I'm confirming this. At least then we'll have something to dupe against. If
it's suppose to be marked invalid, then do so.

It's not just a Linux specific bug - I also see it on Mac OS X 10.2.6 (Mozilla
Thunderbird 0.1, build 20030727). Was reported in bug 214126.
