This page does display properly using IE. Uncertain if this is a html coding problem or a Mozilla problem. TNX... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Always when diplaying the above web site. 2. 3. Actual Results: As described in details.
Looks float-related at first glance.

Except that it's invalid, since the floats have an explicit height, but then have larger content. WinIE doesn't support 'height' properly (it treats it as 'min-height', so the bug doesn't show up there). The page should remove the specification of 'height:...' in places like: <div align="right" style="float: right; width: 178; height: 348"> <table border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse" bordercolor="#111111" width="175" id="AutoNumber1" height="555"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#FFFFCC" height="565" valign="top"><b> <font face="Arial" size="2">Features &amp; Benefits Summary:</font></b><ul> and: <div align="left" style="float: left; width: 194; height: 555"> <table border="1" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse" bordercolor="#111111" width="175" id="AutoNumber1" bgcolor="#FFFFCC"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <p align="justify"><font face="Arial" size="2">Thanks for all

email from Gregg: Sent a full explanation of the problem on August 18 to the email address on the site which appears to be for the webmaster. Received no reply and the display on the page is still broken. Sigh~~~ Will mark assigned and set milestone for follow up.

Found this additional instance of text and tables not cooperating. Visually the problem looks similar. View/Source reveals no float properties in use. http://www.eurunion.org/legislat/agd2000/agd2000.htm Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8
ffbugreport, there are lots of issues on the eu page due to MSIE only content like vml, ms office type style rules, macromedia dreamweaver 3 scripts which do not support Mozilla and need to be updated to version 4. The reason you see the overlap is due to the explict setting of height which in MSIE is broken and treats height as min-height. This is a separate evangelism issue and should have its own bug. You can point the EU web developers to this bug if you wish.
