If I add to one (or more) setup type more than 29 components, for example, if i
add this:

the installer crashes ALWAYS with a "bug 208". When I delete the "C29=Component"
(and 29<x, if they exists), the problem doesn't exists, but in my Mozilla
distribution i have to add more than 29 components... but with this bug i can't
do this :(

Steps to Reproduce:
1. add to a setup type in config.ini more than 29 components (and add the xpi
files and component descriptions and etc.)
2.

Actual Results:  
the installer crashed when installing with a "bug 208"

Expected Results:  
the installer should install the Mozilla distribution

the screenshot shows the problem in Mozilla 1.4 PL. In the original english
version of 1.4 the problem is the same

I've made a Mozilla installation based on Mozilla 1.5beta to show the problem.
You can install it from here: 
http://gecko.topexpert.pl/download/mozillaplus/experimental/mozilla_plus_1.5beta.exe
In this build I only changed config.ini and added some addons.

When installing it we can see this:
Error occured during installation - a: -208 INVALID_ARGUMENTS
It's a critical problem. Could someone confirm this by installing my Mozilla build?

Adrian, the screenshot indicates that it's not necessarily a problem with the
installer itself, but with your .xpi install script.  The error message shows a
problem during the processing of the install.js for that component in the
screenshot.

Take a look at the install_wizard.log created in the installation folder.  If
might give you more of a clue there.

Also, can you attach that log file to this bug?

no, that is impossible.

Take a look on this installer:

If you choose to install all components, you get the error.
If you choose to install, for expample, 5 components, you get the error.
If you choose only to install only the browser, you get the error.

This happens every time on an another xpi.

So the problem is, that the installer cannot handle more than 29 components in
one install type. In the installation you can choose to install xx components,
you always get the error :(

Seamonkey and Firefox are using a new NSIS based installer. resolving this old bug, please reopen if you still get this with the new installer
