Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start Installer 2. Complete Install 3. Choose dir where the previous instalation of mozilla is located. 4. Start up mozilla normaly Actual Results: All the bookmarks that was present in the previous version had ben removed Expected Results: Import bookmarks accross versions, like you allready import from IE Keep up the good work, love mozilla!
Reporter, if you know where your profile folder is, please navigate to it and look for the bookmarks.html file, or any similarly named file (e.g. bookmarks1.html). Please report back whether you find only one or several similar files, and which one had your original bookmarks, if any. (Just open each in a web browser to view.) BTW, It's not recommended to install over an existing copy; you should delete old folders first, or install in a different folder.
this might help for further installations but makes uppgrading mozilla a little more tedious that it jas to be. But I guess it works....
