User-Agent: Mozilla/4.61 [en] (OS/2; U) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; U; Warp 4.5; en-US; rv:1.5b) Gecko/20030825 Probably OS/2-specific. Since installing 1.5b, Mozilla "hangs" (pins CPU monitor at 100%) when: a) A button or newline that should issue a GET or POST is issued, b) Any secure page is requested, c) Attempting to send mail through ASMTP server (non-secure server works fine), or d) Clicking on Master Passwords or Validation tabs of Privacy & Security Settings. This spread to my Mozilla 1.4 setup as well. I've since uninstalled and deleted *all* bits & pieces of Mozilla; reinstalled only 1.5b, created an all new profile, and problems remain. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. See above Actual Results: Mozilla stops responding (I've let it sit for several hours on occasion). Ctrl-Esc allows me to kill the application. Expected Results: What it was told (as appropriate) Attached a formatted iptrace capture loading google.com search page, entering a few terms, then hitting the "Search" button. There seems to be empty packets traded back and forth, but no HTTP-GET is sent.

Problem is resolved. The cause appears to be that something happenned to the x:\OS2\PDPSI directory, which appeared empty, the object notebook said it was ~400MB, it couldn't be altered in any way, and Seek & Scan couldn't search it or subdirectories sorting below it in the OS2 directory. Forced a chkdsk /f to fix and Mozilla works again.
