219983 - sidebar doesn't update if it's closed while switching channels

press the grippy to hide the sidebar with the nicks, now change channel and
reopen, the contents now are the same as before instead of the users of the
current channel.

Attachment: Make userlist update even if it's only the splitter visible

When the splitter's thumb is clicked, the userlist is collapsed but not the
splitter - but we don't know when it's uncollapsed, so we need to still update
it when we change tabs.

FYI the events are as follows:
Drag of splitter to open/close/resize tree -> mouseup fires after drag
"Old" mozillas:
Click of grippy -> mouseup,click,command fires after open/close
"New" mozillas:
Any change of splitter size (including open/close) -> command fires after
