The input box is arguably the main business portion of CZ. Is there any
important purpose served by leaving focus in the output or nick windows on a tab
switch? I can't think of any reason why the default on arriving in a different
channel or server view shouldn't be in a state ready to accept chat input.

I looked at bug 204942, but see that as a distinct issue, though one that could
involve a unified patch with one for this.
