** observed with 12/20/99 Linux M12 final candidate build ** In Mail Composer window, you get the IME status window slightly below and right of the input area in Subject and Header fields, but in the text body window, it it initially placed at the extreme upper left. This makes it impossible to see any initial input strings until something is committed. The status window is then adjusted to position slightly below and right of the current cursor position. The initial placement is very annoying. This problem does not happen in regular Composer window and so this is a Mail Composer specific problem.
