patch for a sortable attachment column
I'd like to check this in for 1.6b since tbird 0.4 needs to leverage it. It
should have ZERO impact on seamonkey because we don't have UI for a thread pane
column that shows off this work so I think the risk is low.

my one question is the wording of the "Attachment" column header/sort option,
but I see that "Attachment" is what OE does.

the back end work has been checked in. We'll wait on the front end until the
