User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031030 In the previous Mozilla v1.5 (and before) releases, a 'pencil' icon appeared when an eMail with a Client Certificate' was sent, or when an eMail containing a client certificate was received. In the v1.6a release, this pencil is missing and it is not clear whether the digital signature is attached or not. At the moment of sending however, the password to attach the digital signature is asked for. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. After composing an eMail, select 'Security' - Digitalli Sign This Message'; 2. Select (one of the) certificat(s); 3. Send the message; 4. Check the 'pencil' icon in the frame next to the 'Subject/From /To:/Date'; Actual Results: 5. No 'pencil' icon visible in v1.6a (as is was in v1.5). ;-( Expected Results: Show the (clickable) 'pencil' icon, which provides details of the Sender's digital certificate, when clicked, so authenticating the sender. Digital Certificates used in this case from: http://www.thawte.com/ These certificates an be obtained for free and validated through the Thawte's 'Web-of-Trust' Notaries (I'm one of them) - recommended 'Community Activity'!

I downloaded and installed Mozilla 1.6b and found the 'missing pencil' Certificate Icon back in the eMail 'Messenger' function as before Mozilla 1.5a. Thanks, scrap the bug report! Ruud Homburg
